Lucía C. Pérez Moreno

Dr. Lucía C. Pérez-Moreno is Associate Professor of History of Architecture at the University of Zaragoza (Spain), where she has worked since 2008. She serves as Co-Principal Investigator of the Built4Life Lab and coordinates the research line Socio_inHabitāre.
She graduated as an Architect and Urban Planner from the University of Navarra in 2003. She pursued postgraduate studies at Aalto University in 2004 (Finland) and completed a Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design (MSAAD) at Columbia University in New York in 2008 (USA). She earned her PhD in Architecture from the Polytechnic University of Madrid in 2013 (Spain) and, more recently, in 2024, obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from KU Leuven (Belgium). She has held visiting positions at KU Leuven (Belgium, 2022–2024) and at the University of Colorado Denver (USA, 2016), expanding her international academic collaborations.
Research focus: Her research explores the intersection of architecture and feminist theory, with a particular interest in how critical perspectives on gender can inform both architectural history and contemporary practice.
