Laura Ruiz-Morote Tramblin is PhD candidate under a predoctoral fellowship at the Built4Life Lab, University of Zaragoza (Spain).
She holds a Bachelor’s (2018) and Master’s degree (2021) in Architecture from the Madrid School of Architecture (ETSAM–UPM, Spain), where she completed an Erasmus exchange at the Technische Universität Graz (Austria) during the 2015–2016 academic year. Her Bachelor’s Thesis was awarded Summa Cum Laude.
Between 2019 and 2022, she collaborated with several architectural studios, participating in design processes from preliminary analysis and concept development to project execution, while also taking part in architecture competitions. In 2023, she began her research career at the University of Zaragoza.
Research focus: Her research examines the representation of women architects in cinema and the recovery of women-authored architectural projects through filmography, exploring the intersections between architecture, gender, and visual culture.
